[BUSINESS LEGAL NAME] (“we”) runs FindMyInventory. This policy explains what we collect and why. We collect as little as we can.
What we collect
- Browsing without an account: nothing that identifies you. If you tap “Use my location”, your approximate coordinates are used to sort stores, stored only in your browser, and sent to us in the request to sort results. We don't keep them.
- Account: your email address, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- Alerts: the products, stores or area (rounded coordinates and radius) you choose, the channels you pick, and a log of alerts sent to avoid duplicates.
- Push notifications: if you allow them, the push subscription your browser gives us (an endpoint URL at your browser vendor, e.g. Apple, Google or Mozilla, plus encryption keys) and your browser's user-agent string. We use it only to send your alerts and delete it if the browser tells us it's no longer valid.
- Telegram (optional): your Telegram chat ID if you link it.
- Payments: Stripe processes your payment. We receive your email, the amount, the Stripe customer and payment IDs, and refund status. We never receive your full card details.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, database and servers, and processes network data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the service. Approximate location from your IP may be used to sort stores; we don't store it.
- Stripe, Inc. processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Resend (if email alerts are enabled) delivers sign-in links and alert emails.
- Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft push services deliver push notifications to your device. Payloads are end-to-end encrypted to your browser.
- Telegram delivers messages if you link it.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, don't use advertising trackers, and don't share your information except with the processors above or when required by law.
Retention
Account and alert data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes.
Your choices and rights
You can delete alerts at any time, turn off notifications in your browser or device settings, and ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, which we will honour.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and local storage in your browser for preferences like theme and location. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Children
The service isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
